MISSION STATEMENT

Being highly qualified independent financial planners has given us the privilege of advising on many complex cases; and these kinds of cases need time.  Time to get to know you. Time to consult your other professional advisers such as your accountant or solicitor. Time to formulate a suitable plan. Time to communicate this plan to you in a manner in which you are comfortable and can understand, ensuring that you can make an informed decision.

But the real time is spent making sure that week on week, month on month, year on year, the plan WORKS. This is achieved by continuously considering how changes to markets, regulation, legislation and taxation affect you. But also how the unplanned events in your life, both pleasant and unfortunate, will alter these plans. Most importantly our focus rests on how you feel about the plans you have in place and that you remain happy and comfortable with them. Simply put; it's all about you.

So rather than pigeon-holing you into a set 'client service standard' or sticking to a rigid framework of annual reviews using generic templates as a ‘one size fits all’ solution, what we offer is different: it is bespoke to you and open to change as your goals progress and change.

Therefore, you won't see our fees based on how much you have invested. Instead our monthly retainers reflect exactly how much time you need us to spend managing your affairs and keeping your plans on track.

This is the foundation of our advisory practice and our promise to you as your financial planning partner now and in the future.

HOW TO BECOME A CLIENT

Due to the bespoke nature of the financial advisory practice, you would normally be introduced to Goals Based Financial Planning either by your accountant, solicitor or an existing client.

Typically, our services are best suited to those who own their own business and are looking to maximise drawings whilst minimising tax, business owners considering exit strategies and those individuals who require tax planning during retirement.

If you feel that you meet any of these criteria, please complete the form below and we will contact you to arrange an initial meeting.

WHAT WE DO

Our ethos is to provide our clients with a high level of service, both initially and on an ongoing basis.

A bespoke service will be agreed with you and implemented. Tailor made for you, we believe you will have the peace of mind, security and confidence from the knowledge that your financial plans are being professionally reviewed. You will also only pay for what you need.

There are six main stages to our financial planning process:

Initial Meeting
(Getting to know you)

Data Gathering
(Where you are now)

Analysis and Strategy (Our analysis)

Plan Presentation (Your plan)

Implementation (Putting everything in place)

Review and Monitor (How we keep you on track)

We need to meet as we don’t know each other nor whether we should work together. It follows there’s no charge and no obligation while we find out together how we can best help, and whether our services are right for you.

We will arrange a mutually convenient meeting date and time, at your home or office and where you feel comfortable to speak in detail and confidence and with your financial records are to hand.

The aim of this first meeting is to get to know you better and you will discuss:

Goal setting – we will help you identify what your goals are now and what will they be in the future. In other words, where do you want and need to be financially, both now and in the future?  None of us want to run out of money by living too long or dying too soon!

We will complete a fact find – to help you achieve your goals, we need to have a firm understanding of exactly where you are now. This can also be known as data gathering.

This helps us understand any gap that exists between where you are and where you want to be.

We will help you to review your existing financial situation and reach a realistic assessment of your likely needs. The financial planning and review process is comprehensive and you should be prepared to invest time and effort, into the process.

During this meeting, we will demonstrate how we can support you in working towards your financial goals and to discuss the cost and levels of our services both initially and throughout our relationship with you.

If after this meeting you feel, for whatever reason, you do not wish to proceed, you are under no obligation to do so and nor will you have incurred any costs. Services after this stage are billable but agreed with you in advance and in writing. Whilst our procedures follow a set process, everything we do is bespoke to you. This is true at the start of our relationship and thereafter.

We will always endeavour to ensure that your best interests are served and that you remain happy and confident that our service meets your requirements.
